About the Committee:

The Women Empowerment Cell in our college is established to empower girl students and staffs and to enhance their understanding of issues related to women in the society and to face the challenges with great courage. It conducts various activities and arranges Guest Lectures to accelerate the academic enhancement, leadership development and cultural enrichment in the lives of young women.

Mission:

Creating awareness among the students about their social, legal and constitutional rights in order to prevent the exploitation based on gender.

Roles And Resonsiblities:

1.To organize Programs and Activities for Women Empowerment.
2.To encourage Girl Students and Female Staff Members to participate enthusiastically in various Programs and Competitions.
3. To develop the Self-Confidence of women in building their Self-Identity.
4.To enhance their understanding of issues related to women in the Society and to face the challenges with great courage.
5.To promote a Culture of respect, equality and freedom for Female Gender.

Objectives:

1.To enhance women to make informed choices in areas like education,employment and health especially reproductive health.
2.To promote a culture of respect and equality for female gender.
3.To develop the self-confidence of Women.
4.To organize events and activities for women empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential..
5.To conduct workshops and awareness programmes with a motive to train girls about self-defense, health benefits and skill development.
