It gives me immense pleasure to introduce you to Pravara Medical Trust’s Arts, Commerce and Science College Shevgaon. Since2013-14, college is imparting quality education in Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Science to the rural and draught trodden areas. The founder of the Pravara Medical TrustPadmashri Dr. VitthalraoVikhePatil had an incisive understanding of the social ills that beset his times and fully realized the dire need of the spread of education as a panacea for all the social ills. As Padmabhushan Dr. BalasahebVikhePatilSaid “Think Globally, Act Locally’, we believe in giving world class facilities and education to the rural people. From its beginning, the college had laid its emphasis on the education for the rural and under privileged section of the society. In this context “ग्राम्यजनहितं परमं ध्येयम्!”(The Welfare of the rural people is the ultimate goal) is our college motto.
Today, Arts, Commerce and Science College Shevgaonhave left an incredible mark of quality in the academics. Since its establishment the college is taking high strides in achieving its success. The college is situated in rural areabut still it is in possession good infrastructure which adds grandeur in the beauty of the college. We provide quality higher education which helps students to built multidimensional personality.
The college runs 11 UG, 2 PG courses and06 different short-term Career Oriented Courses to cater the diverse needs of the students. I feel proud to acknowledge the devotion and contribution of our highly qualified, energetic, multi-talented faculty, a non-teaching fraternity of the college who always strive for the betterment and development of the college in the academic world.
We also endeavor to provide our students with an ambiance, rich in knowledge and favorable to their physical, mental, social and intellectual growth and development. At the outset, the college strives to in cultivate values like morality, sympathy, truth, spiritual development, humanity, integrity, honesty, democratic sense, gender sensitivity, equality, universal brotherhood, and welfare to lead them towards their holistic development.
