Introduction
Department of B.Sc. (Physics) was started in 2013-14. Department is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Faculty of department is well qualified and work with devotion for the betterment of students. Now Department is well equipped with many instruments such as Voltmeter, Ammeter, and Resistors etc. Department has been instrumental in enhancing learning environment by adopting experiential, participative and problem solving methodologies in teaching-learning. It aims to become a centre of excellence in teaching-learning and research through self-evaluation and innovation. The regular classroom teaching is complemented by integration of ICT in teaching-learning process.

B.Sc. Physics Programme offers excellent career opportunities to graduates. Through this programme, students are well-equipped with essential knowledge and possess versatile skill sets. Graduates can pursue career paths in various sectors such as research, healthcare, education, technology etc. BSc Physics graduates are hired for both private and government organizations for several job profiles such as Content Writer, Lab Assistant, Researcher, Technician, Radiologist, Physicist, etc.
