Introduction:

Parent-Teacher Association is established in order to have an advancement of excellence of academic performance of students. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization that consists of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in the college. The goal of all Parent-Teacher Association is to support their college, encourage parent involvement, and support teachers. The association takes keen interest in the maintenance of discipline and high academic standards. Parent-Teacher Association maintains continue association between the parents and teachers. In our college we are organizing PTA meetings regularly. In general meeting of parents and teachers both parent and teacher discuss various problems relating to the general welfare of the students.

Aims And Objectives:

1. Establish a clear channel of communication between parents, teachers, and the administration.
2. To promote the all-round development of the students in college, home and in community.
3. Enrich the learning environment for all students through various programs. 4. To create better understanding between parents and teachers.
5. Work collaboratively with college staff..
6. To promote students sense of responsibility citizenship, self-care and compassion through special events and traditions.
7. Motivate parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey and college activities.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

The roles and responsibilities of a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in a college are pivotal for fostering collaboration between parents, educators, and the institution. They include:


Roles :
1. Act as a bridge between parents, teachers, and administration to enhance understanding and resolve concerns.
2. Assist in creating a conducive environment for the academic and personal growth of students.
3. Provide constructive suggestions for improving the educational system and the overall development of the college.
4. Initiate and coordinate events, programs, and activities that promote academic, cultural, and social development.
5. Work jointly with the college management on policies and initiatives that impact students and the college community.
Responsibilities :
1. Organize regular meetings to discuss academic progress, challenges, and the well-being of students.
2. Help plan and execute academic seminars, cultural activities, and extracurricular programs.
3. Engage in fundraising activities to support college initiatives like scholarships, infrastructure, or events.
4. Collect feedback from parents and teachers to guide improvements in teaching methodologies, infrastructure, and student support services.
5. Address and mediate issues or grievances raised by students, parents, or teachers.
6. Encourage ethical practices, mutual respect, and a positive culture within the college.
