Introduction
The Department of History was started in the year 2017 with the commencement of Arts faculty. The department has maintained tradition of high standard quality in academic performance. The department tries to give quality classroom teaching, more students oriented through group discussion and seminars. The department has well equipped departmental library with more than 50 books and 2 research journals.
1.To understand the basic themes, concepts, chronology, and the scope of
Indian History.
2.Be acquainting with the range of issue related Indian History and its distinctive eras.
3.Understand the history of other countries other than India with Comparative approach.
4.Think and argue historically and critically in writing and discussion.
5.To study further in the applied field of history as archeology.
6.To develop critical thinking and ability to understand and analyze Criticism.
7.It is important to study History with the interdisciplinary approach.
